Clinical Teacher - Sim Lab (Evergreen posting)

Job Responsibilities

• Delivers clinical care to patients while serving as a clinical preceptor to undergraduate students.
• Demonstrates and assists students with unit tasks in practice and demonstrates clinical skills.
• Provides leadership to enhance patient experience and patient safety.

Job Duties

• 70% - Essential - Clinical Instruction
• 15% - Essential - Administrative: Provides feedback to faculty on students' performance during time in the clinical setting.
• 15% - Essential - Collaboration: Utilizes nursing practice to assign care for patients and families. Reviews written requirements with students, providers, and patients' families.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelors degree.
• Work Experience - At least 2 years experience in the specified clinical setting specialty applying for e.g., Med/Surg, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Critical Care, Community, Obstetrics, Leadership and Management.
• Mandatory - Current RN licensure.
