Job Responsibilities
- Delivers clinical care to patients while serving as a clinical preceptor to undergraduate students.
- Demonstrates and assists students with unit tasks in practice and demonstrates clinical skills.
- Provides leadership to enhance patient experience and patient safety.
Job Duties
- 70% - Essential - Clinical Instruction
- 15% - Essential - Administrative: Provides feedback to faculty on students' performance during time in the clinical setting.
- 15% - Essential - Collaboration: Utilizes nursing practice to assign care for patients and families. Reviews written requirements with students, providers, and patients' families.
Minimum Requirements
- Education - Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelors degree.
- Work Experience - At least 2 years experience in the specified clinical setting specialty applying for e.g., Med/Surg, Pediatrics, Mental Health, Critical Care, Community, Obstetrics, Leadership and Management.
- Mandatory - Current RN licensure.
