Clinical Systems Analyst III

Position Summary

This position supports the LAB. Lab systems experience is preferred. Hybrid position. In office one day per week but must be available for additional days if needed.

• Performs advanced design, configuration, testing, and implementation of clinical applications
• Researches, plans and makes recommendations to meet business requirements
• Troubleshoots, solves and documents incidents using the hospital ticketing system
• Participates and documents root cause analysis
• Directs and manages a project from beginning to end including developing a full scale project plan
• Works closely with hospital leadership to ensure user access and functionality in the clinical systems complies with scope of practice and hospital policy

Position Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Field or Equivalent Combination of Post-Secondary Education or Experience
• Five (5) Years of Clinical or IT Experience in a Health Care Field
• Five (5) Years Supporting Clinical-Based Applications
• Experience with Interfaces Between Clinical Based Systems
• Knowledge Working with Client-Server and/or Web Based Application Environments
• Experience with Clinical Decision Support, Crystal, and/or Microsoft Reporting Services
• Experience with Clinical Systems Like Lab, Radiology, Pharmacy, Surgery, EHR and PACS
