At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for experienced Clinical Systems Analysts to bring their healthcare IT expertise to a unique opportunity: helping AI systems understand, reason about, and accurately represent clinical workflows, systems, and data. This is your chance to apply your real-world hospital IT experience to projects that matter — shaping how the next generation of AI handles healthcare knowledge.

About the role

This is an hourly contract position, fully remote, with a flexible commitment of 10–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Apply your clinical systems expertise to evaluate, test, and provide feedback on AI-generated content related to healthcare IT
  • Identify errors, gaps, or inaccuracies in AI outputs covering EHR workflows, clinical applications, and hospital infrastructure
  • Translate complex clinical and operational scenarios into clear, structured feedback that helps AI systems improve
  • Review AI reasoning around system troubleshooting, configuration, and healthcare operations for accuracy and real-world reliability
  • Work independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments at your own pace

Requirements

  • Experienced supporting, administering, or optimizing healthcare IT systems — including EHRs, clinical applications, or hospital infrastructure
  • Skilled at diagnosing technical issues and translating clinical workflow needs into practical solutions
  • Comfortable working across clinical and technical teams, bridging the gap between end users and systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and reliable in a remote, asynchronous environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows
  • Familiarity with AI tools or large language model applications in healthcare
  • Background in clinical informatics, health IT implementation, or system integration

Benefits

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside top research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — choose when and how much you work
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and the ability to work from anywhere
  • Contribute to meaningful work at the intersection of healthcare and AI
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
