Clinical Support Aide - Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care

Job Summary

Supports designated patient care areas by providing bedside set-up, removal of supplies and equipment and maintains clean environment in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and practices.

Responds to requests for bed space set-up for admissions and requests for equipment and supplies throughout the day.

Prepares discharged rooms for EVS cleaning.

Maintains supply par levels in bedside carts.

Cleans and re-stocks carts and cleans and returns supplies to Omnicell.

Responds to on unit emergencies and functions as runner.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English
• Assists in the orientation process of new personnel
• Requires strong problem solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Excellent customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 Year of Experience
• Previous experience in health care environment
• The current salary range for this position is $23.00 to $30.27
