Clinical Supply Chain Manager

About the role

The Clinical Supply Chain Manager will lead the development, implementation, and administration of a coordinated Clinical Operating Room and procedural area supply operations for Hartford Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements methods and systems for improving operational efficiencies, and controls supply inventory.
• Develops and maintains Key Performance Indicators.
• Develops and implements Supply Chain best practices.
• Ensures adequate supply levels and coordinates timely supply distribution.
• Provides leadership, guidance and support to physicians and staff to develop their understanding of supply chain best practices to ensure operational and financial goals are met.
• Develops cost reduction programs while maintaining satisfaction levels.
• Identifies sourcing opportunities, service improvements and product standardization consistent with the goals of meeting the client's expectations.
• Participates in the Value Analysis program.
• Maintains and supports all manual and automated systems for purchasing, receiving and distribution activities to include shipping activities as required (outbound).

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years applicable experience – Healthcare logistics, distribution and supply chain.
• Knowledge, Skills And Ability Requirements: Strong problem solving and communication skills, Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization, Innovative thinker, Ability to work in storeroom, warehouse and manual labor environment.
