About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Clinical Supervisor specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Mental Health to lead our clinical team in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical supervision and consultation for support staff, counselors, associate clinicians, and licensed clinicians.

  • Supervise associate clinicians; conduct one-hour supervision per week per supervisee, maximum of six associates.

  • Lead weekly team group case consultations and review and sign clinical documentation in the electronic medical record for supervisees.

  • Evaluate clinical staff to ensure competency and provide feedback as needed.

  • Assist in identifying training needs and assist the VP of Clinical Services / COO in curriculum development.

  • Direct and support crisis intervention needs, ensure patient sessions are on required timelines, and provide direct services like group therapy.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Current state license as a mental health therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), or as a psychologist through the California Board of Psychology (BOP).

  • Minimum of three (3) years of licensed clinical experience, including two (2) years of experience providing clinical supervision.

  • Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment and integrity on the job with confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize time and other resources to perform multiple tasks.

  • Demonstrated ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner with attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others and to provide effective team leadership.

  • Proficiency in word processing and database and/or spreadsheet applications.
