About the role

The Clinical Supervisor at Mercy is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This includes managing resources, fostering a collaborative environment, and leading teams to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Ensures efficient utilization of resources to meet productivity and financial goals.
• Collaborates with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and address patient flow and bed management issues.
• Works proactively to identify and implement changes that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Models professional behavior and engages employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Encourages a supportive work environment by recognizing and connecting with team members.
• Holds direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to policies and regulations.
• Participates in the evaluation process in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Must have an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
• Must hold certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, ENPC, or PALS.
