The Clinical Supervisor at Mercy is responsible for ensuring that all aspects of patient care are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This includes managing resources, fostering a collaborative environment, and leading teams to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensures efficient utilization of resources to meet productivity and financial goals.
- Collaborates with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to improve processes and address patient flow and bed management issues.
- Works proactively to identify and implement changes that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Models professional behavior and engages employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Encourages a supportive work environment by recognizing and connecting with team members.
- Holds direct and indirect care providers accountable for their professional responsibilities and adherence to policies and regulations.
- Participates in the evaluation process in collaboration with the Clinical Manager.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
- Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing.
- 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
- Must have an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within the probation period.
- Must hold certifications such as TNCC, ACLS, ENPC, or PALS.

- Displays clinical competence in delivering patient care.
- Able to assess data and assist in providing appropriate levels of care.
