Responsibilities
- Oversee daily unit operations and step in as acting leader when the Director or Manager is away.
- Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Lead orientation and training for new staff, fostering a positive and skilled team environment.
- Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and administration.
- Monitor patient care and guide staff in real-time adjustments to ensure quality outcomes.
- Provide direct patient care when needed, within your scope of practice.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- RN-C within 2 years of hire preferred.
- PALS within 30 days of hire for units that admit pediatric patients.
Shift & Location
Full-Time, Nights, 7 pm to 7:30 am at Saint Francis Hospital, Evanston, IL 60202.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $36.75 to $55.70. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
