About the role

Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS), is a Virginia State community services organization that improves the quality of life in Culpeper, Fauquier, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock Counties by providing comprehensive mental health, substance use, developmental disability, housing, children’s and aging services. The Clinical Supervisor - Behavioral Health oversees and manages forensic services. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Clinical Director. Supervision is exercised over program personnel.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains administrative and clinical files and reports, documenting to meet clinical auditing standards.
• Ensures compliance with clinical standards for licensing, contracts, and accreditation.
• Participates in clinical, administrative and supervisory meetings; collaborates with other staff members concerning cases.
• Ensures relevant staff are following all relevant procedures and protocols.
• Provides clinical oversight for varied behavioral health programs.
• Collaborate with community stakeholders, other treatment team members, referral sources, and other community resources with client consent. Maintain communication with these sources to ensure appropriate service delivery.
• Provides day-to-day clinical supervision of all program staff.
• Provides orientation, regular and ongoing training and direction to staff on program and agency operations, policy and procedures.
• Covers other management duties in the absence of Clinical Director or other Clinical Supervisors.
• Provides supervision for student interns and licensing clinical supervision to clinicians eligible for licensing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• This work requires little or no physical effort or exertion. Working conditions are good; may involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements and accidents are improbable other than minor injuries; health hazards are negligible; some mental effort and stress involved resulting in inconvenience and frustration.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license; completed LMHP clinical supervisor training, attends training and maintains certifications as required by the Agency and regulatory guidelines.
