Clinical Supervisor

About the Role

The Counselor Supervisor will supervise Counselors who provide treatment and casework services to patients in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations and with BayMark’s policies and procedures. The supervisor ensures timely documentation of patient services based on the plan of care, identifies physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs for assigned patients, and reports directly to the Treatment Center Director.

Responsibilities

• Assigns counselors’ caseloads and amends when necessary
• Conducts quality assurance file reviews
• Directs and supervises all intake operations
• Ensures efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients
• Ensures accurate and current clinical records are maintained in accordance with Federal and State Regulations governing NTP clinics
• Maintains a counseling caseload
• Provides direct supervision to clinicians and assists in ongoing supervision of staff through meetings, in-service training, guest speakers, and reviewing literature
• Acts as Treatment Center Director when absent
• Performs other related duties as determined by supervisor

Qualifications

• Must possess OH LCDCIII, LICDC, LICDC-CS, or LSW-S certification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with chemically dependent individuals
• Prior supervisory experience required
• Self-motivated and directed
• Demonstrates a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patient population
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with EMRs is a plus
• Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
