About the role
OpenLoop’s mission is to bring care anywhere by powering telehealth solutions at scale. The Quality Department serves as the essential "anchor" ensuring clinical excellence remains uncompromised. We are looking for a Quality Operations Specialist to join our small, highly efficient team.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Chart Auditing: Execute high-volume, structured audits of provider charts to ensure protocol alignment and documentation accuracy.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Support: Assist Quality RNs in "deep-dive" investigations to identify systemic gaps and process failures.
- Compliance Tracking: Monitor and maintain the database for provider quality trainings, ensuring 100% compliance during mass hiring cycles.
- Provider Communication: Disseminate approved quality messaging and educational updates to the provider population with professional tact.
- Cross-Functional Triage: Work across the organization to flag issues in the "intake-to-implementation" pipeline, preventing errors before they reach the clinical stage.
- The "Team Pivot": Jump in to support any team member or department project as organizational needs shift—we tackle every problem as a unified front.
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail; you enjoy finding the "needle in the haystack."
- The ability to deliver feedback and protocol requirements to clinicians and stakeholders clearly and neutrally.
- You are comfortable in a "swamped" environment where priorities evolve quickly.
- You believe that no task is too small and that the team’s collective success is the primary goal.
- You have a history of "digging into" issues. We are looking for someone who has previously identified a problem (e.g., a recurring scheduling error or a missing document trend) and helped find a solution.
- Required Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of direct clinical environment experience (e.g., Medical Assistant, Scribe, or Clinical Coordinator).
- Proficiency in Excel & Google Sheets and a quick ability to learn Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and tracking tools.
- A foundational understanding of clinical workflows. You should know the typical lifecycle of a patient visit and how documentation flows from intake to discharge.
- Experience interacting directly with patients in a clinical capacity. This ensures you understand the "human element" behind the data you are auditing.
Benefits
- In addition, for salaried positions you would also be eligible for:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision plans
- Flexible Spending/Health Savings Accounts
- Generous PTO & hybrid-work flexibility
- 401(k) + Company Match
- Life Insurance, Pet insurance, and more
