Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) Center for Child and Family Traumatic Stress: Patuxent Woods Location Hiring Incentive Available

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services to children, adolescents, young adults, and families, through individual, group, or family modalities.
• Conduct evaluations, including diagnostic assessments to determine appropriate treatment modality.
• Collaborate with the referring agency to assist them in utilizing the evaluation/treatment services in the development of the service plan for the child and the family.
• Collaborate with the school system to assure that the children are receiving appropriate educational services, if indicated.
• Participate in peer consultation groups and/or individual supervision for the purpose of review of clinical work.
• Attend in-service clinical training programs, treatment planning meeting, and necessary administrative meetings.
• Maintain client activity at the projected level set by the administrative staff.
• Maintain the medical record for each client seen which includes a treatment plan and diagnostic interview at the initiation of therapy, weekly progress notes, periodic reviews, and termination summary.
• May participate in the field instruction program and supervise social work trainees when interest and capacity are demonstrated.
• May participate in specialized clinics focused on particular conditions or treatments

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the Maryland State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Board of Social Work Examiners as a Licensed Certified Social Worker- Clinical (LCSW-C).
• Must possess and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• EDUCATION: Master’s degree from an accredited School of Social Work required.
• EXPERIENCE: Minimum two years of licensed clinical experience related to treating children and families with traumatic exposures and associated emotional and behavioral disturbances required.

Pay

Minimum pay range USD $78,094.00/Yr. Maximum pay range USD $100,672.00/Yr.
