Purpose Statement/Position Summary
The Clinical Social Worker II provides social work evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex psychosocial needs independently or with supervision as needed. Takes a leadership role in coordinating services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate patient care. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family-centered model of care.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
- 2+ years’ experience as a social worker in a medical setting with children, youth, and families.
Education/Licensure/Certification
- Master’s degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW).
Application process
Application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire.
Current Certification
- Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
