Clinical Social Worker (Health/Correctional Facility)-North Kern State Prison, Delano

Duties

• Conduct assessments and summarize case information to use in diagnosis, treatment (level of care), and dispositional release.
• Diagnoses and/or collaborates in the formulation of a diagnosis.
• Develops, monitors, and modifies treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Provides assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences.
• Documents and evaluates patients’ progress in treatment.
• Congnrols placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university.
• One (1) year of experience working with individuals in a correctional setting.
• Current California Social Work license.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Knowledge of correctional facility policies and procedures.

Benefits

This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.

Pay

The authorized HAM rate for this classification is P $8,678 - Q $9,319.
