Requires a minimum of a master's degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure in Kansas. Applicants with additional addictions licensure (LAC, LCAC) are encouraged to apply.
Pay
Starting wage is $73,000/year. Applicants willing to provide dual-diagnosis services could receive an additional increase of $2,000. Sign-on bonus available.
Qualifications
- Licensed or immediately eligible for licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Level Psychologist (LMLP), Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist (LCP), Licensed Masters Level Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the State of Kansas.
- State certified as an A/D Counselor with a minimum of a bachelor's degree or two years of relevant experience.
- Dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and compliance with agency’s liability carrier requirements (may be required depending on job assignment).
- Ability to communicate positively and effectively with others.
- Basic proficiency in math.
- Effective utilization of basic office technology.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
- Meets billable visit and hour standards as defined by program requirements.
- Completes admission assessments and provides treatment to patients. Provides individual, group, and family therapy services.
- Completes all required clinical documentation accurately and timely (due within 24 hours of the event unless otherwise specified).
- If licensed to provide testing, administers, scores, and writes interpretive reports on psychodiagnostic tests.
- Provides consultation to agencies, businesses, industries, and caregivers in the community.
- Maintains effective working relationships with other agencies and referral sources.
- Participates in administrative and interdisciplinary clinical staff meetings.
- Provides crisis services on-call backup coverage for the service area during periods where crisis on-call positions are vacant or on extended leave (reimbursed in addition to base salary or exchanged for time out of the office).

Other Job Functions
- Participates on review and other special committees as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Any deviations to the work schedule and all overtime must be approved in advance if non-exempt.
