About the role
Under general supervision, provides operational and administrative support services within assigned departments or teams. Conducts research, prepares, updates, and maintains electronic records using computer systems, and supports workflow processing, communication, and workload tracking in accordance with contract requirements and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Accurately prepares, verifies, enters, organizes, sorts, routes, and processes electronic records to and from assigned workflows.
- Conducts research to resolve unique or complex errors, record issues, workflow questions, or system-related concerns.
- Communicates research findings, record status, and workflow information to appropriate staff, peers, and leaders.
- Provides guidance to others based on research findings, established procedures, and business needs.
- Monitors, tracks, and communicates workload status to appropriate personnel.
- Creates, receives, processes, and routes incoming and outgoing communications.
- Cross-trains and supports multiple functions or workloads as assigned.
- Prioritizes functions and workloads based on business needs, deadlines, and direction from leadership.
- Collaborates and communicates effectively with peers, leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Processes live claims using applicable computer systems, as assigned.
- Mentors or trains peers, as assigned.
- Performs other duties, special projects, and assignments as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or administrative support experience.
- Must successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings, including a drug screening.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required access approvals, credentials, or background clearances applicable to the assigned contract or work location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting healthcare, claims, records processing, customer service, or government contract operations.
Skills
- Ability to work accurately in multiple computer systems at one time.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to research, analyze, and resolve record or workflow issues.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize assignments, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, leaders, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements
- Sitting or standing for extended periods while performing computer-based work.
- Using hands and fingers for keyboarding, data entry, document review, and other office tasks.
- Viewing computer screens, reports, electronic records, and other written materials for extended periods.
- Communicating verbally and in writing with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Lifting, carrying, or moving standard office materials and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.

Sensory Requirements
- Requires visual acuity, manual dexterity, concentration, attention to detail, and the ability to read, review, enter, and verify information accurately using computer systems.
Schedule
- Full Time Remote
- Candidates must reside within 55 miles of Rockledge, Florida.
- Monday-Friday (shift times between 8 am and 8 pm).
Pay
$17.77/hr.
