Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Hours may vary based on clinic needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and administrative duties to accomplish organizational and patient care goals as part of the clinical team.
- Directly supervise Nurse Supervisor/Supervisor of Clinical Services, RNs, LPNs, and help oversee Medical Assistants (MA), Sonographers, and Health Assistants (HA).
- Expand responsibilities during a pandemic response to include telephonic case management of affected patients and day-to-day pandemic case management and medical triage operations, ensuring effective care delivery.
- Ensure outcomes and compliance of clinic operations in conjunction with the Director of Nursing, Associate Director of Nursing, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer.
- Manage clinic flow and teach the concept of clinic flow to nursing staff.
- Oversee the telephonic triage and pandemic case management team; teach concepts of quality and efficient telephonic patient care to clinical staff.
- Plan, organize, and direct the administration of nursing units and patient care based on established goals, objectives, standards, policies, and procedures of the clinic.
- Provide coverage for the clinic and telephonic triage team based on staffing and daily workload needs, including managing daily schedules and coordinating approved and unapproved time off.
- Assist with the management and performance of all nursing duties, including triage, phone calls, and walk-ins as needed.
- Assist in orienting residents, students, new nurses, Sonographers, and others rotating through the medical component for educational purposes and to verify competency.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the business; responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the organization.
