Clinical Scientist
for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). We should map content to appropriate headings.
We have sections: Objective (could be About the role). Essential Functions (Responsibilities). Qualifications (Education/Experience, Knowledge/Skills). There's also Knowledge/Skill/Ability (Skills). There's Work Environment (maybe not needed unless we have content; but we should only include if real specific content; we have work environment details like travel, PPE, etc. Could be included under maybe "Work Environment" but not in the list of allowed headings? The list includes examples but not exclusive; we could still use other headings? It says use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule). Likely we should stick to those headings; but we can also add others if needed? Safer to stick to those. Work environment could be omitted or folded into Responsibilities? Probably better to include as a separate section maybe "Work Environment" but not in list; but instruction says use those as examples, not exclusive. However to be safe, we could include a section "Work Environment" as . The instruction: "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It implies those are typical but not exhaustive. We'll include sections that have substantive content: About the role (from Objective), Responsibilities (Essential Functions), Qualifications (Education/Experience), Skills (Knowledge/Skill/Ability), Work Environment (maybe). Benefits, Pay, Schedule not present, so omit.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc.
We need to preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and
for prose.
We need to extract lists.
Let's parse.
Objective paragraph: "The Clinical Scientist will work to develop protocols and informed consent documents for clinical studies as well as draft clinical scientific documents such as INDs, IBs, and other documents for FDA/EMA submissions. This individual also will be responsible for driving the medical monitoring process. The Clinical Scientist will have the scientific expertise necessary to design and deliver clinical studies and programs. This individual should have a comprehensive background in oncology and must be able to work independently and proactively to coordinate all necessary activities required to set up and monitor a study, completing accurate study status reports and maintaining study documentation."
That's prose; we can put in
.
Essential Functions: list of bullet-like sentences separated by periods. We need to turn each into
- . Let's extract each duty:
- Serve as a key scientific liaison, collaborating with key opinion leaders (KOLs), investigators, and external partners to support clinical development initiatives.

- Assist in executing early-phase clinical development strategies, contributing to the advancement of novel radiopharmaceutical therapies.
That's many items.
Qualifications: includes Education/Experience, Knowledge/Skill/Ability subsections.
We need to separate Qualifications and Skills maybe.
Qualifications heading: could contain Education/Experience (the bullet list). Skills heading: Knowledge/Skill/Ability.
Let's extract Education/Experience bullet points:
- Advanced or clinical degree preferred (e.g., RN, BSN, MSN, MS, PhD, PharmD, or MD in a relevant scientific discipline such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Radiopharmacy, Oncology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field).
- Candidates with substantial industry experience without an advanced degree may be considered with substantial industry experience.
- 3+ years of clinical research experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO settings, with a focus on oncology, nuclear medicine, or radiopharmaceuticals preferred.
- Hands-on experience with clinical trial design, protocol development, and regulatory submissions (IND, CTA, BLA, NDA).
- Experience with clinical data review, safety assessments, and translational research in oncology or targeted radiotherapy is highly desirable.
- Experience developing training materials for clinical sites and CRAs, as well as presenting at Investigator Meetings or Site Initiation Visits (SIVs).
- Prior engagement with KOLs, investigators, and regulatory agencies (e.g., FDA, EMA, Health Canada) is a plus.
These are list items.
Now Knowledge / Skill / Ability bullet points:
- Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for drug development.
- Familiarity with clinical pharmacology, radiology, and imaging modalities (e.g., PET, SPECT, CT, MRI) in a clinical trial setting is a plus.
- Proficient in Medical Terminology and medical writing skills.
- Computer proficiency in basic database entry and graphics presentations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences.
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional project teams and fostering collaboration across departments.

- Advanced proficiency in medical writing and technical documentation; skilled in preparing high-quality scientific and regulatory documents.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Council for Harmonization (ICH) guidelines, and the drug development process.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time. Both domestic and international travel may be required.
Note: The last bullet about travel could be considered under Work Environment but it's in Knowledge/Skill/Ability. We'll keep it there.
Now Work Environment section: includes:
- Must be able to work outside of regular work hours, including off shift, weekend, and holiday work as business needs require.
- May be required to sit or stand for long periods of 8+ hours a day while performing duties.
- Must be willing to wear a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye and hearing protection, as needed.
- Willingness to complete safety training within allotted timeframes, and work in a team-based environment.
We could include as a section "Work Environment". It's substantive.
Now we need to output only HTML fragment, no html/body tags, no markdown fences.
We'll structure:
About the role
...objective paragraph...
Responsibilities
- ...
...
Qualifications

Skills

Work Environment

...
We must ensure we don't include any boilerplate like EEO etc. The posting includes EEO statement at end; we must remove.
Also remove lines like "Please note this job description is not designed to cover..." and "Work Environment The work environment characteristics..." etc. We already captured work environment content; we should not include the introductory sentence "Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative..." but we can include the bullet points. We'll ignore that sentence.
Also remove "Perspective Therapeutics provides equal employment opportunities..." etc.
Now ensure we preserve all substantive information. Let's double-check we didn't miss any details.
From Objective: we captured all sentences.
From Essential Functions: we captured each bullet.
From Qualifications Education/Experience: captured each bullet.
From Knowledge/Skill/Ability: captured each bullet.
From Work Environment: captured each bullet.
Check for any other substantive info like "Both domestic and international travel may be required." included in Skills bullet.
Check for any mention of "Must be willing to travel up to 20% of the time." included.
Check for any mention of "Must be able to work outside of regular work hours..." included.
Check for any mention of "May be required to sit or stand for long periods of 8+ hours a day while performing duties." included.
Check for any mention of "Must be willing to wear a variety of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including eye and hearing protection, as needed." included.
Check for any mention of "Willingness to complete safety training within allotted timeframes, and work in a team-based environment." included.
Now ensure we didn't inadvertently include any boilerplate like "Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions." That appears twice (in Essential Functions and Work Environment). That's a boilerplate statement; should we include? It's part of the job description but it's a standard EEO accommodation statement. The instruction says remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate. The reasonable accommodation statement is likely considered EEO/legal boilerplate. So we should remove those sentences. They appear in the Essential Functions section: "Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions." Also appears in Work Environment: same sentence. We should remove them.
Also there is a line: "Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice." That's boilerplate; remove.
Also "Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters when performing the essential functions of this job." That's introductory sentence; we can remove as it's boilerplate.
Also "Perspective Therapeutics provides equal employment opportunities..." remove.
Now ensure we didn't include any of those.
Now produce HTML.
We'll need to escape any HTML special characters? The text includes parentheses, ampersands? Not many. We'll keep as is.
Let's craft.
First, About the role paragraph: combine the objective sentences into one or two paragraphs. We'll keep as a single .
