Clinical Science Specialist- North America

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and clinical presentations on the genomics product portfolio at clinics, customer events, and scientific meetings
• Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders and key decision makers
• Collaborate with medical societies, key organizations, and advocacy groups
• Develop and review educational materials for providers and patients
• Develop and participate in virtual educational content
• Provide clinical support to clinicians, and help them perform genetic testing in their practice
• Support and educate internal customers (sales, marketing, clinical and laboratory operations) as it relates to expertise
• Collect and report on new developments, emerging literature, and competitive market information
• Attend tradeshows and medical conferences
• Direct and coordinate abstract submissions to medical conferences
• Travel: Ability to travel over 60% of the time and manage a demanding schedule

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in genetics; genetic counselor credentials preferred
• Experience in reproductive genetics preferred
• Clinical research experience
• Ability to critically evaluate the medical literature
• Strong analytical and presentation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Tech savvy: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Google Apps (Docs, Spreadsheets, Presentations), and CRM Tools

Compensation

The starting base pay for this role is between $105,000 - $130,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
