About the role

The Patient Experience Manager (PEM) is responsible for guiding patients through their full care journey, ensuring a seamless, informed, and empowering experience from onboarding through ongoing treatment. This role plays a critical part in delivering a consistent, high-quality patient experience by combining patient education, program coordination, and relationship management to support long-term engagement and outcomes. The PEM ensures every patient feels confident, supported, and connected throughout their care journey.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through onboarding, treatment progression, and ongoing care
  • Educate patients on treatment options, timelines, and expectations
  • Ensure patients remain engaged and consistent with their care plans
  • Celebrate patient progress and reinforce long-term success
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with patients
  • Address patient questions, concerns, and barriers to adherence
  • Provide clear, simple, and proactive communication at every stage
  • Ensure patients feel supported, informed, and confident in their care
  • Manage patient accounts, subscriptions, and documentation
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless care
  • Support medication ordering, tracking, and follow-up
  • Monitor patient activity and re-engage as needed

  • This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and a team-first mindset. All team members are expected to support clinic operations and patient needs as they arise, within the scope of their role and licensure.
  • Partner with PRCs and clinical staff to ensure a consistent patient experience
  • Support clinic flow when needed to maintain efficiency and patient satisfaction
  • Communicate effectively across teams to ensure alignment and continuity of care

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple patients and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency in EMR, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Patient-centered mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences

Additional Information

  • This role supports both patient experience and clinic performance through engagement and coordination
  • Cross-functional support may be required based on clinic needs
