Clinical RN or GN w/Permit

Position Summary

Functions as a staff nurse under the guidance and supervision of an experienced R.N. Performs routine patient care assignments and carries out established nursing procedures utilizing the nursing process.

Education

• Hold a current Texas permit or license as a Registered Nurse
• BSN preferred

Training and Experience

• Current BLS through the American Heart Association
• Successful completion of general and nursing orientation within 3 months of hire
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer to department
• TCAR (Trauma Care After Resuscitation) within 12 months of hire or transfer to department
• Critical Care Course within one year
