Position Summary
NeighborHealth is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse to serve in a collaborative role supporting nursing staff through education, competency development, and quality improvement initiatives. This role partners closely with clinical and operational leadership to promote evidence-based practice, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance patient care across the department.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with nursing and operational leadership to support clinical practice, workflow optimization, and team development across the department.
- Cookbook and deliver orientation, onboarding, and ongoing competency-based education for nursing staff and medical assistants.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, providing real-time support, guidance, and feedback to staff in daily operations.
- Conduct chart reviews, competency assessments, and performance feedback to support staff development and ensure high-quality patient care.
- Lead and support quality improvement initiatives, including audits, incident review, and implementation of corrective action plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, DPH, NCQA, CLIA) through education, monitoring, and process improvement.
- Support transitions of care, clinical workflows, and evidence-based practice implementation within the department.
- Collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and participate in committees related to infection control, performance improvement, and clinical operations.
- Maintain proficiency in clinical practice and provide direct patient care as needed to support departmental operations.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the clinical environment.
Qualifications
