About the role
The Oncology Clinical Research Nurse supports, facilitates, and coordinates the daily clinical study activities under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI).
Responsibilities
- Performs standard nursing duties and supports clinical studies.
- Works with the PI, department, sponsor, and institution to support and provide guidance on the administration, compliance, financial, required personnel, and other aspects of clinical studies.
- Oversights investigational drug and/or device accountability.
- Works with the PI to oversee clinical operations activities for assigned studies and participants.
- Serves as the single point of contact for research participants, investigators, clinic and ancillary staff, sponsors, and CROs.
- Manages data entry, data query resolution in clinical study databases, and other study-specific system management for assigned studies.
- Supports, facilitates, and coordinates daily clinical study activities in support of study conduct.
- Supports the PI, departmental, sponsor, and CRO inquiries.
- Prepares and maintains research records and files in accordance with regulatory requirements and institutional files.
- Conducts informed consent and screening and recruitment procedures.
Requirements
- Applicable experience: 2 years as a Registered Nurse (MO)
- Multi-State - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS)
- Associate Degree
Qualifications
- Higher level of supervision by Lead/Manager expected.
- Continuous progress in learning/understanding of role is expected.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Schedule
Monday - Friday, Days 8 am until 4:30 pm.
