Responsibilities
- Captures and evaluates clinical research trials, studies, and projects.
- Develops and implements research protocols.
- Screens potential study participants and educates them.
- Oversees financial accounts to maintain compliance.
- Performs patient evaluations, administers medications, and research instruments.
- Supports specialized diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
- Makes referrals to in-house or community professionals and serves as a clinical resource.
- Collects and compiles data, assists in developing data collection systems, and writes reports.
- Might provide infusion duties.
- Assists in writing research grants, publications, and study materials.
- Provides direction and may supervise other Research Nurses or support members.
Requirements
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia with three years of related nursing experience.
- Credentialed through Emory Healthcare under the category of RN II.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of oncology and clinical research principles.
Skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000 annually.
Schedule
This position is full-time and works standard business hours.
