Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator - Neuro-Oncology & Neurofibromatosis

What You Will Do

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of clinical research and coordinate conduct of complex studies.
  • Manage study finances including sponsor invoicing & resolving study subject billing issues.
  • Create advertisement materials, informed consent documents, and Case Report Forms.
  • Act as liaison for research subjects, investigators, IRBs, sponsors, and healthcare professionals.
  • Document investigational product accountability and perform routine quality assurance and compliance checks.
  • Facilitate pre-study, site qualification, study initiation, and monitoring visits.
  • Facilitate study close-out activities.
  • Maintain Clinical Trial.gov and other relevant systems.
  • Aid other team members by educating, providing resources, and consulting on difficult protocols or projects.
  • Understand and comply with good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance.

Education Qualifications

  • Technical Diploma in Nursing - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing - Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of nursing experience - Required
  • At least three (3) years of research experience - Preferred

Skills And Abilities

  • Basic proficiency with research databases.
  • Physical assessment, vital signs, administering investigational drugs, and accessing lines for labs and pharmacokinetic sampling.

  • Good clinical practice (GCP) and regulatory compliance.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - within 12 months - Required or
  • Registered Nurse (New Jersey) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - within 12 months - Required or
  • Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (New Jersey) - Pennsylvania State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required or
  • Nursing Temporary Practice Permit (Pennsylvania) - New Jersey State Licensing Board - upon hire - Required and
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - upon hire - Required

Salary Range

SALARY RANGE: $83,700.00 - $106,700.00 Annually

The salary range is shown for full-time jobs. If you're working part-time, your pay will be adjusted accordingly. At CHOP, we are committed to fair and transparent pay practices. Factors such as skills and experience could result in an offer above the salary range noted in this job posting.
