Clinical Research Nurse
About the role
This position is a permanent role based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Active Arizona Registered Nurse license or documented temporary licensure pending.
- Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical bedside nursing experience.
- Strong patient assessment, clinical judgment, and nursing skills.
- Knowledge of facilities, instruments, and equipment commonly used in healthcare settings.
- Ability to learn and apply clinical research regulations, protocols, and procedures.
- CPR/ACLS certification required.
- No prior clinical research experience required.
- Interest in clinical research and willingness to learn research processes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct study activities as delegated by the Principal Investigator and in compliance with study protocols, GCP, and FDA regulations.
- Administer prescribed study and concomitant medications.
- Perform phlebotomy and handle the collection, processing, and shipment of biological samples.
- Perform ECGs, monitor vital signs, and carry out other specialized nursing procedures.
- Ensure accurate implementation of trial schedules, schedule patient visits, and arrange follow-up with patients as required.
- Care for patients throughout study participation and provide clinical support.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to protocol requirements.
Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58,000.00 - $68,000.00/yr. Benefits are provided as part of the employment package.
