Overview Of The Role

Responsibilities

You will support and undertake research as part of the academic surgery research group. Your research will focus on the prevention of intestinal anastomotic leak. You will lead your own studies in this area, including methods development and clinical studies and contribute to the work of the research group as a whole.

Requirements

You will be medically qualified with MRCP or equivalent and full GMC registration.

Qualifications

You will be a general surgical trainee, especially if you are aiming to sub specialise in colorectal surgery or pursue an academic career.

Skills

You will be able to lead your own studies in the prevention of intestinal anastomotic leak, including methods development and clinical studies.
