About the role
The Department of Radiation Oncology at Penn State College of Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support a diverse portfolio of oncology research studies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain research databases; support data collection, management plans, and quality assurance activities
- Prepare, review, submit, and maintain regulatory and compliance documentation (e.g., IRB, Clinical Trials Office)
- Aid with grant and proposal preparation, award administration, and research submissions
- Operate oversight for clinical research projects, including management of study timelines, deliverables, and workflows
- Coordinate research activities across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders, including sponsors and collaborating institutions
- Develop study-specific operating procedures, workflow processes, manuals, and documentation
- Organize and coordinate meetings, trainings, and presentations; prepare agendas and facilitate training sessions
- Maintain accurate records for personnel certifications, training completion, and compliance documentation
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Prior experience in clinical research coordination within an academic or healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with mobile and internet technology, remote data capture (i.e. REDCap) and basic data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted

- Salary range: $59,580.00 - $86,400.00

The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $59,580.00 - $86,400.00.
