About the role

The CRC works within the clinical research program and supports the research team in conducting clinical trials under Good Clinical Practice. Responsibilities include primary data collection, ensuring timely trial assessments, managing patient clinical information, and supporting regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the clinical trials start-up process from protocol receipt to IRB submissions and site activation activities.
  • Data reporting and management, collection of source documents, use and development of case report forms, adverse events reporting, and study record archiving.
  • Maintain and organize study participant/subject trial binders and regulatory binders, entering required study data.
  • Ensure study-related samples are collected, prepared, and shipped according to protocol requirements and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various departments for clinical trial coordination and management.
  • Organize and prepare for auditing and study monitoring visits.
  • Close out clinical trials, contributing to research articles, audits, and communication with regulatory agencies.
  • Interact with study participants as directed by the protocol.
  • May collect tissue samples as required by the trial.
  • Data entry of subject visit tracking information, time and effort spent on study activities, and other administrative tasks into the Clinical Trial Management System.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 1 year of Dana-Farber Associate Clinical Research Coordinator experience required.
  • 1 year of experience working in a medical or scientific research setting or comparable technology-oriented business environment preferred.

  • Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
