About the Role

This is a part-time, hourly position that performs all the regular duties of a Clinical Research Coordinator but does not qualify for exemption due to abbreviated hours. The role is eligible for overtime and is intended for part-time employees.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and records study data and inputs all information into a database.
  • Obtains informed consent under minimal supervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding study requirements.
  • Assists in the activities related to clinical research studies, including but not limited to:
    • Answering phone calls.
    • Screening participants for eligibility.
    • Registering subjects with the sponsoring agency.
    • Administering lifestyle questionnaires.
  • Assists in preparing grant applications, IRB/GCO submissions, and filings.
  • Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with hospital procedures.
  • Ensures accurate and complete compilation of subject data through chart reviews.
  • Secures, delivers, and ships clinical specimens as required by the protocol.
  • Prepares for monitoring visits.
  • Performs other related duties.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field preferred, or a combination of relevant research experience and education.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $16.50 - $38.48 per hour, depending on experience, education, and operational need. This range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
