Clinical Research Coordinator, Non-RN

Responsibilities

• Oversees compliance to protocol; manages quality control, completion and submission of study related documentation; prepares reports for organizations and agencies.
• Makes sure enrollment goals are met and comes up with ways to get more people involved in the studies.
• Works with research participants, like finding who might be interested, making sure they understand what they're getting into, and making sure they show up for their appointments.
• Prepares, sends, and keeps track of important papers and letters that need to go to different places.
• Maintains a special computer file with all the information about the people in the studies and what they've done.
• Checks to make sure the things they're doing are safe and works out any problems that come up.
• Can also help with picking up samples from doctors' offices and putting them in freezers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience as a clinical research or clinical trial coordinator.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Experience working with clinical trials or research.
