Clinical Research Coordinator Level 1

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator 1 (CRC) plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety of clinical trial participants and sponsors. This position is based at Accellacare Piedmont Clinic in Statesville, NC, and involves performing various clinical and technical tasks as per study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and promote clinical trial services to suitable participants and sponsor representatives.
• Coordinate and complete studies according to protocols, including conducting procedures like venipuncture, vital signs, ECGs, IV infusions, and allergy tests.
• Attend meetings and trainings to stay updated on drug preparations and clinical procedures.
• Monitor for complications during drug administration and document adverse reactions.
• Assist other staff members and prepare study documentation for audits.
• Order and maintain clinical supplies, including rescue drugs and temperature-controlled equipment.
• Support training and skill development for site staff.

Requirements

• 1+ years of work experience in clinical research or pharmaceutical environments.
• Strong phlebotomy experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of study drugs and clinical procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and report adverse events promptly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• OSHA representative responsibilities, including vaccine administration and record-keeping.
