Department: Neuroscience – Shared | Location: Lexington, KY | Full-time staff position
About the role
The Department of Neurology KNI Clinical Research Unit is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work with our clinical trials team. You will maintain select research projects and grants within the unit. Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills are required to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities
- Work with research participants and collect data
- Maintain clinical research study records
- Collaborate closely with study physicians and research study sponsors
- Prepare regulatory documentation, including annual reports for Federal and Private funding entities and internal regulatory personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of related experience
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in operating various office machines, including computers, printers, and software packages
- Robust interpersonal skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Initiative, collaboration, and advanced time management skills
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays as needed to meet study protocol requirements
- Occasional travel may be required
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical research certification (CCRC, CCRA, CCRP, etc.)
Pay
$25.51–42.08/hour
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional evenings, weekends, nights, or holidays as needed.
