Clinical Research Coordinator I - Pulmonary
About Our Pulmonary Program
Pulmonary medicine focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the lungs and respiratory system. Our nationally recognized Pulmonary program provides comprehensive care for babies, children, and teens with conditions that impact their breathing and sleep. We offer specialized clinics dedicated to treating children with cystic fibrosis and asthma, and provide general evaluations for symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, recurrent pneumonia, wheezing, chest pain, and exercise intolerance. Education is at the heart of what we do; we empower families to manage their child’s condition today while planning for the future. Our multidisciplinary team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, respiratory therapists, and a dietitian, all committed to providing complete and compassionate care. We also collaborate closely with experts in Otolaryngology, General Surgery, Rehabilitation Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Radiology to ensure integrated care for every child.
About The Role
The primary objective of this initiative is to establish a comprehensive collection of data from patients under the care of our Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care physicians. This data will support future research endeavors, including NIH and industry-sponsored studies, ultimately contributing to groundbreaking discoveries in pulmonary health. As a Pulmonary Clinical Research Coordinator, you’ll directly impact the success of our research programs. You’ll work closely with our physicians, research staff, and—most importantly—our patients and their families.

Hope. Care. Cure. These three simple words capture what we do at Seattle Children’s—to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. Our founding promise to the community is as valid today as it was over a century ago: we will care for all children in our region, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. Together, we deliver superior patient care, advance new discoveries and treatments through pediatric research, and serve as the pediatric and adolescent academic medical center for Washington, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho—the largest region of any children’s hospital in the country.
U.S. News & World Report consistently ranks Seattle Children’s among the nation’s best children’s hospitals. For more than a decade, we have been nationally recognized in key specialty areas. We are honored to be one of the nation’s very best places to care for children and the top-ranked pediatric hospital in Washington and the Pacific Northwest. As a Magnet-designated institution, we recognize the importance of hiring and developing great talent to provide best-in-class care to the patients and families we serve.
Our organizational DNA takes form in our core values: Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, Collaboration, Equity, and Innovation. Whether it’s delivering frontline care to our patients in a kind and caring manner, practicing the highest standards of quality and safety, or being relentlessly curious as we work toward eradicating childhood diseases, these values are the fabric of our culture and community.
