About the Role

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to support clinical trials in neurological rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist investigators with identification and recruitment of participants.
  • Ensure eligibility requirements of the protocol are met for each participant.
  • Coordinate participant flow through the clinical study or protocol, scheduling visits and monitoring all study-related events.
  • Communicate pertinent information to investigators and appropriate health professionals.
  • Monitor participant safety and general well-being.
  • Obtain, abstract, and collate data, including videos and reports from patient medical records.
  • Maintain and submit all required reports, forms, and updated records to study groups.
  • Assist in designing systems for organizing, planning, and controlling workflow related to clinical studies.
  • Monitor inventory of supplies and samples; transport samples between locations.
  • Learn and apply Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with participants, health professionals, and study sponsors/monitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • One year of related experience.

Qualifications

  • Ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive computer motions.
  • Capability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 20 lbs.
  • Occasional assistance to research participants with walking support.

Pay

$23.18–38.25/hour.
