About the Role
The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I to support clinical trials in neurological rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Assist investigators with identification and recruitment of participants.
- Ensure eligibility requirements of the protocol are met for each participant.
- Coordinate participant flow through the clinical study or protocol, scheduling visits and monitoring all study-related events.
- Communicate pertinent information to investigators and appropriate health professionals.
- Monitor participant safety and general well-being.
- Obtain, abstract, and collate data, including videos and reports from patient medical records.
- Maintain and submit all required reports, forms, and updated records to study groups.
- Assist in designing systems for organizing, planning, and controlling workflow related to clinical studies.
- Monitor inventory of supplies and samples; transport samples between locations.
- Learn and apply Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Maintain cooperative and professional relationships with participants, health professionals, and study sponsors/monitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- One year of related experience.
Qualifications
- Ability to sit for long periods and perform repetitive computer motions.
- Capability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 20 lbs.
- Occasional assistance to research participants with walking support.
Pay
$23.18–38.25/hour.
