Clinical Research Coordinator I
Seattle Children’s PITCH Lab is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to support pragmatic clinical trials aimed at improving care for hospitalized children with common conditions such as bronchiolitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infection, gastroenteritis, and skin and soft tissue infections.
About the role
The Clinical Research Coordinator will manage day-to-day study operations, including participant screening and recruitment, informed consent, data collection, medical record review, survey administration, regulatory documentation, and coordination with families, clinicians, investigators, and multi-site research partners. This role also supports study tracking, quality assurance, IRB submissions, protocol adherence, and preparation of reports or study materials.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical research environment. Strong communication skills and sensitivity when interacting with children, families, and healthcare teams are essential.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Prior experience in research or a related field/setting
- Confirmed proficiency in a second language via successful completion of a language assessment may be required for certain departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric research experience
- Experience with clinical research, REDCap or similar databases, and human subjects research
- Experience in pediatric or hospital-based settings
Pay
$29.16 - $43.73 per hour. This range is based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
