About the role

The ideal candidate will possess certification such as an MA, phlebotomy, or similar and have a strong desire to work directly with patients. You will take ownership of assigned studies and patients, ensuring strict compliance with laws, regulations, and IRB-approved clinical trial protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, screen, randomize, and enroll patients in IRB-approved clinical trials
  • Conduct clinic visits and perform direct patient care activities, including consenting patients, physical assessments, blood draws, medication administration, and ECG
  • Maintain acute attention to detail for clean data entry, regulatory compliance, productive site visits, efficient study setup, and strict protocol adherence
  • Communicate effectively to foster relationships between the research team, PIs, sponsors, monitors, and others
  • Resolve and submit IRB responses and audit findings
  • Track adverse events (AE) and serious adverse events (SAE)
  • Maintain eSource material for assigned studies
  • Use provided technologies to increase efficiency in day-to-day activities

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (we are not currently accepting work visas)
  • Certification such as an MA, phlebotomy, or similar
  • Strong desire to work directly with patients
  • Ability to stay focused while managing multiple protocols and tasks
  • Expert communication skills
  • Bias for action and personal responsibility
