About the role
The Clinical Research Coordinator will coordinate and oversee clinical research protocols investigating hematology malignancies primarily in observational studies. They will also collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team, ensuring all necessary data is collected and reported appropriately.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess eligibility of patients for clinical research study participation
- Discuss research studies with patients and their family members
- Obtain informed consent and assist with IRB submissions, modifications, and amendments
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary research team
- Ensure all necessary data is collected and reported as appropriate
- Support the development of plans for new clinical research studies
- Write manuscripts and prepare grant submissions
- Research, develop, and create detailed reports and presentations
- Participate in internal and external quality reviews
- Analyze, query, interpret, and summarize data
- Collect and extract data
- Ensure and verify data integrity
- Generate reports and reviews to ensure data validity
- Support activities to ensure compliance with IRB, FDA, federal, state, and industry sponsor regulations
- Coordinate and prepare for external quality assurance and control reviews by IRB, federal, or industry sponsors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, or other medical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of relevant clinical research experience
- 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
