Clinical Research Bill Coverage Analyst
Play a pivotal role in the daily operations of managing billing compliance for clinical research studies at ECU and ECU Health. Work closely with study sponsors, clinical units, research teams, and regulatory affairs offices to conduct comprehensive financial reviews, manage a portfolio of studies, and ensure adherence to billing regulations. Provide crucial support to investigators, clinical staff, and patients by overseeing financial aspects related to studies.
Responsibilities
- Interpret study protocols and contracts.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation related to billing compliance.
- Contribute to the development of billing compliance policies and procedures.
- Support audits and provide training on billing compliance.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare, administration, or a related field (required).
- Master's degree preferred (MBA or Master's in healthcare administration).
- 3–4 years of experience in clinical research finance, billing compliance, or financial auditing (required).
