Clinical Research Associate

About the role

The Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRCI) manages and coordinates 7 out of approximately 55 ongoing clinical trials in the Department of Neurology, focusing on neuroimmunology and neuromuscular conditions. The role involves dynamic and demanding responsibilities requiring refined technical, organizational, interpersonal, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand the schedule of assessments for each trial.
• Coordinate and manage each study visit, involving extensive preparatory work.
• Conduct the entire study visit for each patient, ensuring the protocol is followed.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ancillary departments involved in trial visits.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5 years’ minimum work experience as a Clinical Trial Coordinator or Clinical Research Assistant.
• 3 years of experience working in a clinical setting, including direct patient interaction.
• Experience working with Neurology patients, specifically in neurology clinics.
• Knowledge of medical records and medical operations and regulations.
• Moral and ethical responsibility, and professionalism.
