About the role
The Clinical Research Assistant (CRA) assists in coordinating administrative processes related to clinical trials. The CRA supports the Research Operations Administrator (ROA), Research Operations Coordinator (ROC), and other research team members in day-to-day administrative functions.
Responsibilities
- Consistently arrive at work on time and adhere to a regular work schedule.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain ISF, Pharmacy, and Lab Binders from study start-up through trial closeout.
- Print clinical trial-related documents and correspondence and file them in the appropriate clinical trial regulatory, lab, and pharmacy binders.
- Unpack and organize clinical trial lab kits.
- Obtain physician and research team member signatures on trial-related documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of administrative experience supporting daily operations, communication, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Well-developed verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organization and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong customer service and team orientation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to different working environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Internet Skills).
- Demonstrated work ethics, integrity of research data, and patient confidentiality.
- Ability to complete tasks within established time frames and adhere to clinic policies and procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to expanded roles.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (required).
- Knowledge of oncology-related medical terminology (preferred).
Working Conditions
Normal office environment with exposure to electrical machinery.
