Clinical Research Assistant - Department of Surgery (Part-Time)

About the role

The Department of Surgery, Division of Trauma, Critical Care, Burns and Emergency Surgery seeks a Clinical Research Assistant to support clinical trauma research. This position will require evening and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a clinical study Research Assistant for trials providing 24/7 direct observation and data collection
• Screen and enroll participants in hemorrhage control, resuscitation, spinal cord injury, surgical site infections, traumatic brain injury, and other trauma-related studies
• Work closely with the manager to facilitate trial operations
• Record interventions and obtain labs
• Complete case report forms and assist with query resolution
• Interview and schedule study participants for follow-up
