About the role
Clinical Registrar - Tumor Registry - Remote
Responsibilities
- Collects, compiles and maintains demographic, clinical and follow-up data on all cancer cases diagnosed and/or treated at Providence facilities in the Portland Service Area.
- Extracts data from all available sources including EPIC, Mosaic, and other department-specific databases.
- Prepares information state submission, NCDB submission and for local analysis and dissemination.
- Performs all cancer registry work in compliance with the standards set by the American College of Surgeons.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Or equivalent education/experience
- In lieu of Associate's degree: Additional 2 years cancer registry experience
- Upon hire: Oncology Data Specialist - National Cancer Registrars Association
- 2 years Cancer registry experience.
