Clinical Radiology Manager

Promotes institutional philosophy, goals, and objectives and participates in the development, implementation, and supervision of the Department of Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology policies, procedures, and programs. Provides direction to Imaging Supervisors, professional staff, and support staff regarding policy adherence and current practice trends.

Responsibilities

• Collects and evaluates data to measure departmental performance and trends.
• Monitors the use of resources in accordance with departmental plans and budgets.
• Establishes, reviews, and revises departmental service delivery standards sensitive to patient, physician, staff, and other customer needs.
• Coordinates all patient incident reviews, physician, patient, and staff complaints.
• Serves as a consultant to internal and external sources for Diagnostic Imaging & Radiology services.

Requirements

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in an imaging modality.
• Associate's Degree in Business/Management, Radiologic Technology, or other Healthcare related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
• Ten or more years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership ability (preferred).

Qualifications

• NYS license as Radiologic Technologist OR registration in one or more of the following imaging modalities:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) as a Cardiac Sonographer OR Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

Pay

$49.24 - $73.86 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule

• Primary work shift: Day
• Regular scheduled weekly hours: 40
