About the Role

  • Provide leadership and guidance to Medical Assistants
  • Support daily clinical workflow and assist MAs when needed
  • Train and onboard new Medical Assistants
  • Maintain consistent room preparation standards
  • Aid in clinical supply management
  • Serve as a point of contact for MA questions during the day
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Monitor provider documentation completion
  • Track incomplete or unsigned clinical notes
  • Ensure notes are completed within required timeframes
  • Review charts for missing documentation
  • Coordinate with providers and billing staff when corrections are required
  • Support clinical quality improvement initiatives and compliance processes
  • Prepare charts for upcoming visits
  • Verify that labs, imaging, and referrals are available
  • Track follow-ups for patient care tasks
  • Ensure documentation is completed before billing
  • Support providers in maintaining efficient workflows
  • Support preventive care initiatives
  • Track patient lists for care programs
  • Cover follow-ups and patient outreach
  • Maintain program documentation requirements
  • Aid in outreach to referral sources
  • Build relationships with community partners
  • Support community events and educational initiatives
  • Track referral sources and outreach opportunities
  • Aid in patient engagement activities
  • Aid in social media coordination
  • Help collect patient testimonials
  • Support marketing campaigns and patient education efforts
  • Aid in promotional or community events
  • Aid in patient engagement initiatives
  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities
  • Aid in clinical protocol development
  • Participate in implementing new processes
  • Support operational projects assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflow and patient intake procedures
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
  • Comfortable learning new systems and workflows
  • Professional attitude and commitment to quality patient care
  • Leadership or training experience
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Interest in healthcare operations or quality improvement
  • Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
  • Leadership and teamwork
