Clinical Psychologist

About the role

Perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the disability benefits process. The role does not involve treatment or medication prescribing; disability determinations are made by the VA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments
• Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal
• Accurately document findings on required VA forms

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program
• Active and unrestricted Psychology license
• Proficiency with technology
• Compassionate, professional demeanor

Skills

• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Electronic documentation skills
• Empathy when interacting with Veterans

Schedule

Full-time, in-person, with an average caseload of 4 Veterans per day. Equipment such as a computer and documentation tools are provided. Predictable schedule without on-call duties.
