About the role
Perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or medication prescribing; disability determinations are made by the VA.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person assessments of Veterans
- Review electronic medical records via a secure web portal
- Accurately document findings on required VA forms
Schedule
Full-time with in-person evaluations on two days and telehealth on three days. Average caseload of four Veterans per day.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program
- Active unrestricted Psychology license
- Proficiency in electronic documentation
- Comfort with web-based tools
