Clinical Psychologist

Job Summary

The Clinical Psychologist will conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Hillsboro, OR. The role supports patient care during sensitive procedures where patients may request a same-gender staff member, ensuring appropriate gender representation among staff to accommodate patient choice.

Requirements

• Must be a psychologist or psychiatrist licensed in at least one state in the United States.
  • Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board certified or complete a 2-year residency with either specialty.
  • Psychologists must obtain a PhD or PsyD with a Major in Psychology; Specialty studies must focus on the adult population such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (or a combination of these).
  • Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
  • Psychologists must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
• Have an active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care.
• Proficient in computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and using EMR and platforms.
• Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making.
• Works independently and manages time to provide quality service while meeting set deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in clinical settings.
• Prior VA or C&P experience.

Pay

This is a hourly position, paid bi-weekly $63.63/hr.

Schedule

Part time, 3 or 4 days/week.
