Part-time position based in Lincoln, NE conducting one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams.
Pay
$55.00–60.07 per hour, paid bi-weekly.
Schedule
Part-time: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM CST.

Requirements
- Licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one U.S. state.
- Psychiatrists or Neurologists must be board-certified or have completed a 2-year residency in the specialty.
- Psychologists must hold a PhD or PsyD with a major in Psychology; specialty studies must focus on the adult population (Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology, or a combination). Child-focused psychology programs are not acceptable.
- Graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program.
- Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records (EMR) platforms.
- Strong professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in clinical settings.
- Prior VA or Compensation & Pension (C&P) experience.
Responsibilities
- Review pertinent mental health history documentation.
- Conduct one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pensions exams for Veterans.
- Capture responses during exams using a web-based examination form; all documentation completed electronically.
- Submit completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
Common reasons for assessment include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
