Clinical Psychologist

About the role

Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking Clinical Psychologist candidates to work in Chantilly, VA or McLean, VA (location to be determined by staffing need). This is a very rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting our Military and Intelligence men and women and the challenges they face. Leidos will consider sponsoring qualified individuals towards gaining the Top Secret/SCI with Poly security clearance required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and clinical interviews, including documenting clinical findings.
• Diagnose psychological disorders and provide evidence-based psychotherapy and consultations.
• Conduct diagnostic interviews and therapy sessions using evidence-based and brief therapeutic models and consultation to management and other medical staff.
• Provide current national mental health care referral capability/network information and resources, as applicable.
• Develop and implement mental health related workshops, briefings and facilitate group therapy, as requested.
• Conduct pre/post deployment consultations, mental health briefings and organizational consultation to components involved in high-threat and expeditionary operations.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and current records of all clinical services rendered, includes initial evaluations, progress notes, summary notes and all other necessary documentation.
• Consult with management and other medical staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy. D.) in Clinical Psychology.
• Completion of an APA-accredited program.
